Jerry Springer dropped in on The Drive with Steve Jaxon and Bill Press joined them, for a wide ranging discussion of the campaign, the candidates and the convention.
Congressman Jared Huffman represents California’s 2nd district. He visited Steve Jaxon on Day 3 of the convention. He talks about Bill Clinton’s speech from the night before, where the former President told the personal story of how he met Hillary and of her career. They talk about the speeches expected that evening, including President Obama’s last speech as President to a Democratic convention. With Hillary’s acceptance speech expected the following night, Congressman Huffman sees her continuing the reconciliation with Sanders supporters. He is a super delegate and he talks about the consensus reform adopted this year that will limit super delegates to Congress members and governors.
Brianna Keilar of CNN stopped by The Drive’s station on Radio Row at the DNC on Day 3 and Steve confesses that she is his favorite CNN host. She begins by telling about her early career and how she landed at CNN as a Senior Politcal Correspondent, now covering Hillary Clinton.
